Dr. Jonathan Hepburn Optometrist

Dr. Hepburn attended the University of Waterloo, graduating Biomedical Science with Dean’s Honours in 2007, followed by NOVA Southeastern University where he graduated Optometry School in 2011 as a four year member of the BSK International Optometric Honour Society. In practice, Dr. Hepburn prides himself on being comprehensive, listening and talking with his patients in order to ensure they are comfortable with all aspects of their ocular health. Outside of the office, Dr. Hepburn enjoys lifting weights and playing sports. He lives in Paris with his wife, his son and his rescue dogs.

Dean McIntosh Optician

Dean has been serving the Brantford and Ohsweken area as a Registered Optician for over 30 years. Dean prides himself on providing a patient-centered approach to the optical industry, listening to patients’ specific needs and working with them to determine the best option for their vision correction. Dean is a member of the Lions Club, and has been heavily involved in fundraising for the Food Bank, Minor Hockey, Minor Baseball and much more.

Dr. Ipsita Kalsi Optometrist

Dr. Ipsita Kalsi earned her Honours Bachelor of Science from Western University in 2021 and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2025. She completed clinical externships in Woodstock and Calgary, where she had the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of eye health needs, from routine vision care to more specialized binocular vision and ocular disease management.

Originally from Brantford, Dr. Kalsi is dedicated to compassionate, patient-focused care. Fluent in English and Hindi, she enjoys helping patients feel confident in managing their eye health.

Outside of work, Dr. Kalsi enjoys running, playing pickleball, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Megan Roque-Lalande Registered Optician

Originally from Sudbury, Ontario and a proud member of the Wahnapitae First Nation, Megan has been a Registered Optician since 2008. She now lives in Caledonia with her husband, two children, and their dog. Known for her warm and friendly nature, Megan is passionate about helping people see and feel their best. She takes the time to truly listen to her patients’ needs and works closely with them to find the best solutions for their vision and lifestyle. Outside of the optical world, she enjoys reading, swimming, and playing hockey. Megan is proud to serve the community she calls home and looks forward to welcoming new and returning patients alike.

Dakota Carpenter Registered Optician

Dakota graduated with academic distinction from Stenberg College in Surrey, British Columbia in 2024 and brings over six years of experience in the optical industry. Known for her attention to detail, compassion, and professionalism, she is committed to providing personalized care for every patient. Dakota is a proud member of the Six Nations and lives in Caledonia. Outside of work, Dakota enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient receives thoughtful, individualized care tailored to their vision needs.

Jessie Marsdin General Manager

Jess joined the Creative Vision Optical team in 2016 as a part-time student, studying Community and Criminal Justice, and transitioned to full time in 2018. Working closely with Dr. Hepburn and Dean, Jess became Store Manager and decided to go back to school to become an Optician.

Jess loves helping patients shop for glasses and is passionate about ensuring comfort, style, and proper fitting. Having a “glasses addiction” herself, Jess hopes patients see their glasses as more of an accessory than anything else.

Outside of work, Jess is very involved with her church community at Cedarview Church. She also enjoys making sourdough bread, going for walks & bike rides, hanging out with friends, and quiet nights in front of the TV while knitting.
